Rainbow G & J Painting Donates to Steeplechase Cancer Center
We are starting up our 2nd annual “Paint For Pink” campaign. We were honored to present Steeplechase Cancer Center with a $2,615.00 donation last year.
Glenn Antico has been a local business owner in the Somerset County area for over 20 years. In 2007 his wife Christine was diagnosed with breast cancer. After several surgeries and months of chemotherapy treatments she is now cancer free. For their compassion, support and exceptional care, Glenn and Christine have a special place in their hearts for the Steeplechase Cancer Center.
During September and October any job you book with Rainbow G & J Painting, we will donate 5% of the total cost of the job to the Steeplechase Cancer Center, to assist them in providing the highest level of care possible.
As Glenn’s wife and 4 year survivor, I know how important it is to have access to a state-of-art cancer center. I can remember after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer taking the trip to Manhattan to see one of the top specialists in the country, only to have them compliment Somerset Medical Center’s pathology reports. I spent many hours and months of treatment at Steeplechase. I continue to go, and participate in their programs, and support group meetings today. These classes and programs are an important part of the healing process from a cancer diagnosis. even after you are done with treatment, there is still a need for many patients to continue with support from the Cancer Center. I am very thankful for the wonderful staff and group of doctors there that helped me through the most difficult time of my life. I realize now how fortunate we are to have the Steeplechase Cancer Center in such a close proximity to our surrounding towns. Hopefully, you will never be faced with a cancer diagnosis, but it is comforting to know we have such a high level facility right in our area.
